Payment Information

 Dr. Guellati-Salcedo's usual and customary fee is $200 per 60-minute appointment for individual psychotherapy or coaching sessions. 

An initial consultation or intake session of 90 minutes will be charged $280.

Session packages are available and require full payment upfront, as follows:
- 6 individual session package at $1080 ($180/session).
- 8 individual session package at $1360 ($170/session).
- 12 individual session package at $1920 ($160/session).

For professional services, such as extended phone contact with patient or other professionals (with your permission), preparation of records or treatment summaries, and legal proceedings (i.e., depositions, testimony, preparation and transportation costs), off-hours appointments, fee arrangements will be discussed separately.

Terms of Payment
Please, note that registration and payment must be completed before our session can take place. 

The preferred form of payment is bank-to-bank transfer via Zelle® to sophie.guellati@gmail.com.

For package purchases, a PayPal invoice can be issued upon request to allow payment by credit card. Please note that a 3.5% processing fee will be added to cover PayPal transaction costs. 

No-Show and Cancellation Policy:
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24-hour  notice to avoid a late cancellation fee equal to your session fee. In the event of a missed appointment or late cancellation, prepayment will be required to secure future bookings.

About Health Insurance

Dr. Guellati-Salcedo is an out-of-network provider for all insurance plans at this time, with the exception of Medicare Part B (this does not include Medicare Advantage plans from private insurers). A detailed invoice (also known as a superbill) can be provided upon request for clients who wish to submit claims for possible reimbursement through their insurance provider.

Please note that coaching sessions are typically not eligible for coverage under health insurance plans.

Why I Do Not Participate in Insurance Networks

To honor the depth, privacy, and integrity of the work I offer, I have chosen not to contract with insurance companies. This decision allows me to support clients without the limitations imposed by diagnostic labeling, session caps, or externally defined models of care.

My approach blends evidence-based psychological practices with personalized mind-body-spirit integration, which often extends beyond what is considered "medically necessary" by insurance standards. Working outside of these constraints ensures that the therapeutic space remains fully client-centered, confidential, and attuned to your unique process.

This model also fosters a higher level of commitment and engagement—qualities essential for the kind of deep, transformative work I specialize in.
